DEFINITION
DVI means Digital Vehicle Inspection. It is a “report card” for your vehicle, also called a “vehicle health report”.
WHAT’S IN IT?
In the DVI is exactly what you’d expect from a vehicle health report:
Notes from the technicians
Pictures and video
An easy-to-understand and easy-to-read format
Organized information, prioritizing immediate concerns
From the very beginning, you get a visual of the condition your vehicle is in. Green means its been checked by our technicians and is in good/okay condition. Red means its been marked as a concern that requires immediate action. Grey means there are things your vehicle does not have that others do. Not every vehicle has the same parts and needs, so things may be marked as not applicable.
The section “Technician Concerns” instantly informs you of what requires immediate attention, so you can address these concerns and miss nothing. Each concern will have notes and pictures to explain further.
This section in the DVI will show every inspection performed by the technicians. You’ll be able to see where they inspected and what they found. Additional information like mileage will also be here (at top of section).
How to use it
Since the beginning of it’s implementation, our customers have found various ways to best utilize the DVI:
Save DVI emails, PDFs for future reference (questions about mileage, when you last got an oil change, etc.)
Before buying a used vehicle, get it inspected and use the DVI to negotiate pricing
Sell your vehicle at the price you want with the DVI to back it up
From our technicians, the DVI is transferred over to our service advisor to be reviewed. From there, it is sent straight to you via text message/email and/or printed out in person. So, it is accessible and mobile. Read it anytime, anywhere and have it forever to refer back to.
